Faith undergirds all we do. We believe that God created man to work and is delighted to work with us to establish and make successful whatever we embark upon. As such we are undaunted by prevailing/persisting situations but rather place our confidence in His ability to work with us through circumstances and people to think, dare and execute projects and arrive at remarkable, sustainable solutions. Walking in His guidance enables us to view issues from an optimistic perspective to which we can honestly commit our best to.

IHSICC PROJECT

In Nigeria, flooding and extreme rainfall due to climate change have caused widespread devastation and increased transmission of infectious diseases. We are being supported by Grand Challenges Canada to develop a mobile app (FloodAid) that improves emergency response preparedness for the spread of water-borne diseases in flood-prone areas and along migration routes of displaced persons. The app will help surveillance teams to predict areas of disease spread in the event of an outbreak, and plan resource allocation and interventions in real-time for communities that have been displaced due to flooding.
Additionally, it will allow users to find nearby health facilities, camps or shelters where they can access help during flood events. Data generated from this app will also facilitate advocacy for integrating climate change awareness in the health sector."
